Member Testimonials

We pride ourselves on the services we deliver. Our focus is on the member experience whether it’s continuing to add value to the best rates and most services offered in a CrossFit membership, to ensuring you have access to a safe and effective program with true personal training in a group setting. Hear what our members have to say about us and understand what makes us different from other gyms.

I guess at the end of the day, to sum StrongFit up as a whole, between Jason and the other coaches, is that you, me, everyone matters. Simply that. We matter.

Mike and I are relatively new to StrongFit but have been doing CrossFit for 3 years. We came to StrongFit initially to take part in the beginner weightlifting program. Within a short period of time we knew that we wanted to become full members. The one thing that stands out the most to me, the biggest gift that I have received from StrongFit would be a feeling of being capable. Of not being limited by age or experience. So many times in the past we had both been almost dismissed because of our limitations. If we were unable to do a certain movement it was just understood that we could not do it and were told to do something else instead. For the first time, at StrongFit we were made to believe that we were as capable as anyone else to do any movement if we were shown the way, and more importantly, were willing to put in the extra work necessary. Since joining StrongFit, we have never been made to feel "less than" or less able and that alone has renewed our passion to improve and learn everything we can in the sport of Crossfit. Jason Trinh and the coaches at StrongFit care. They care if we succeed. They are excited by our success. It has made us want to improve just to be able to share that success with them. We have been asked what our goals are. That has never happened before at any gym I belonged to. Once we expressed our goals, we were given a game plan to take and work on. I can now do a supinated grip pull up. Mike can overhead squat. These are things we thought that we simply would never be able to do. I guess at the end of the day, to sum StrongFit up as a whole, between Jason and the other coaches, is that you, me, everyone matters. Simply that. We matter.

Whenever someone new walks into the gym the coaches are very quick to go help them and see what they need. Replies to online messages and emails are always very quick. There is never any pressure to buy memberships or if you change your membership just facts and prompt service.

Everyone is on the same page when it comes to reaching individual goals. It makes you feel valued when it feels like you guys are invested in our goals too.

Flexible membership options and leeway based on personal situations. Example: When I emailed Sherry to cancel my membership in favor of a punch pass when I was struggling with coming to classes. There wasn't 30 days notice, and she very well could have charged me for the month and then once that was up charge me for the punch pass afterwards. This is actually what I had asked for since I didn't want to put you guys out. Instead she just switched it over immediately. Which wouldn't be the case at most other gyms. I know it seems like a small thing but at the time I really really appreciated it.

Obviously this has been touched on, but the value of the membership. You have added more CrossFit classes, added weightlifting, added recovery, etc. Without increasing prices. And as far as I know StrongFit is the most affordable CrossFit in the city.

Goal setting sessions offered at no additional cost.

I know lots of times after classes I have asked you, and other coaches for advice about stuff: becoming more consistent, progressions, food...recovery, all kinds of stuff and you and your coaches always take the questions seriously and take the time to provide the answers right then and there. Everyone is on the same page when it comes to reaching individual goals. It makes you feel valued when it feels like you guys are invested in our goals too.

You have helped me find confidence I never knew I had. And you have shown me that I am an important piece to the family. Just like every other person at the gym. We are all different and all have different stories but we have one common interest.

It has impacted so many areas of my life. Not only health. Mental health and social health as well. Prior to joining StrongFit and becoming a member I have been able to get healthy and stronger. But I have been able to make huge strides in my other areas of life. I previously hid myself in work. I avoided all other areas of my life. Today I am able to go to functions. And walk in alone. Yes my heart beats a little more but I do not die. I am able to do other things outside of my comfort zone. I am forever grateful for finding this place and you. Do you want me to go into all the things you have done personally for me? The little nudges showing me that what is the worst that will happen??? You will have fun??? You have helped me find confidence I never knew I had. And you have shown me that I am an important piece to the family. Just like every other person at the gym. We are all different and all have different stories but we have one common interest. Which is movement and no we aren’t all going to the games. But we will joke laugh and get stronger every day.

You have a way of checking in at the right times. You can tell when I am off and for example when I walked in the gym after being in the hospital and I saw strangers you immediately said hey and put my anxiety to ease. In that split second I was thinking of leaving you were able to beat me to it and welcomed me back.

With that being said I you make me feel like my concerns what ever they may be are valid and give me options. Whether it is adapting a workout or checking in when you haven’t seen me in a few days. What I notice is this is something you do for everyone.

The way you have made our community different is how you can bring us together when there is someone in need. By saying you will do a million burpees. You got the majority of the gym out by your side for a a great cause.

You lead by example.

How you make the gym accessible for people with children and a environment where no one is bothered by a screaming child. (Single people included).

The way you know who you can call on their “bullshit” and those you know don’t want that.

I do take notice of new people or people who look uncomfortable because I don’t like that feeling and sometimes just saying “hey” makes a huge difference. This is something I have learned from you.

You can quote me and use my name. I am proud of how far I have come and I know there are others who feel the same and putting a name to the story makes people like me know we aren’t alone.

The feelings of safety and respect for everyone is constant. I have never been made to feel bad about not being able to do something physically but I also get that push to try harder and new things. The friendships I have made since starting are a big reason I keep going! I would recommend anyone at any spot of physical condition to come!

You make people better than when they walked in. That’s adding value to someone and providing a good customer experience and ultimately great customer service.

I mean if you want to talk about customer experience why don’t you take a look at your members. Look how many people are members today that were members from when you first opened. Look at how many members you worked with before you opened that are still members today. Customer experience is about driving value and helping others achieve what they want and ultimately that gets you what you want in life. That’s exactly what you built, you provided a place with a low cost barrier to entry where like-minded people can come together to better themselves. That’s what you wanted to do while providing some of the best coaching available in the city, if not further. You created a community and that doesn’t happen on it’s own without a strong leader providing people with what they want.

Sadly, the work is never done. I view things like a kids area, great coaches, lots of hours as really good features of your gym. But the real benefit of being a member is feeling like you belong, being part of a community and working with people who are all there for the same reason. You make people better than when they walked in. That’s adding value to someone and providing a good customer experience and ultimately great customer service.

Customer service has been about treating members like family and knowing when that family member needs a push, or needs a hug.

Jason you have gone beyond any normal customer service for me and my family many times. One of my first memories of you is carrying Caleb around while you were coaching so I could work out. So many times I have come to the gym with a happy story to share or a personal concern going on and you always listened and offered advice or help or just listened. The workouts were always able to make me feel better and stronger both physically and mentally. This summer I came to you with the most devastating news and you said how can I help, how can your StrongFit family help you. This first thing was you did was to put a hold on my membership and said come whenever you want with no charge. Next you planned a fundraiser to help me and Anton with a few wish list items. 25000 burpees, a day spent with “family” and funds raised almost $4000. That day meant so much to Anton. He knew I would always have this family once he was gone. I am so grateful every time I come to the gym and get a hug from one of the members, sit and visit, workout beside people I know care about me and with coaches who know my story and know I just need to be there. Customer service has been about treating members like family and knowing when that family member needs a push, or needs a hug. You have done this for me and for so many others. StrongFit will always be my gym and my family. Thank you Jason.

“You have created a welcoming, supportive, caring atmosphere that comes from both the instructors and members alike.  The only time I have ever felt like I couldn't participate was because of the doubts in my own head and reading the WODs in advance, however, I feel like that attitude in me is slowly changing because of StrongFit's approach.   Elektra, whose classes I have primarily attended, has always found a way to make it so I feel like I belong, even if I'm nowhere close to the prescribed workout.  You really have accomplished something special at your gym.”
